NetLibrary

i love that there is all this content avable to us. I plan to use NetlLbrary and OverDrive (Thanks Redhead Jen on my drive to work. i really like listing to audio books and podcasts.

Final thoughts. I have learned a lot and have more to learn. Something I'm not sure i will use again. some have great potential. Thank you for having this class, it has pushed some of my boundrys and broaden my horizons.

Tagging

I try to stay away from tags. I see how they would be very useful if you wanted to put up a business and wanted as much traffic as possible.

I set up an account with delicious.com. I think this will be very handy. I have so many book marks and folders with things to look at later or for reference.

Wikis

i started a wiki so that my brother and sister can coordinate a trip together. I know it's lame, because that was in the you tube video. But it was all I could think of and we could probably use something where we where all on the same page.

blog

Zoho Writer.

So far not sure about this. I think I will use it in the future because I hate having to upgrade my software and not being able to reinstall from scratch.

Sll is mostly sleeping through the night. SharkBoy was in a store with his mom, when they called out that they needed someone in the ladies bathroom. Sharkboy said OK. Daughter said she could here laughter for other isles.

Boy this prompts you to save often.

Glogster

Glogster took a little work to figure out. I'm not sure how much I will use this, but it is nice to know it's there. I found it hard to decide what to use because there are so many choices.

Library

I've had a online library account for a couple of years. It is such a time saver to renew (that has saved me lots of fines). I like being able to search for book at home. I think this would be very helpful in researching and writing papers.

Podcasts

I have been listening to podcasts for a couple of years mostly sock knitting. I use Itunes mostly I use Juice Here are some:

Right now I'm listening to this episode of Fresh Air.

I think that anyone being able to post videos and podcast has broaden some peoples lives. It makes me fell a little overwelmed, I think I should do more know more. It's like being in the library and you find a book and then it leads you to another and another and..........

This always makes me laugh. If I need a laugh I go to You Tube and search for funny cats, never fails to make me laugh.

Catching up

Hi all, things here have been busy waiting for Sharkboy's baby brother aka Black Tipped Reef shark boy to arrive. I still think it's funny he wants his brother named that.

I add a Rollyo search box to this blog for sharks of course. I think that this could be really handy to have a safe search for sharks and dinosaurs for Sharkboy. I can see how this will be handy and interesting. I don't think I would found out about this if it wasn't for the 23 Things.

I made this image on Image Chef with some of Sharkboys favorites. He told his parents that they just don't understand him and to stop laughing at him.

I will have to try Rollyo later because this is what I got when I went to their site.

Wow a Whale Shark

Om Monday we went to the Adventure Aquarium in NJ, this is a nice size for a four year old. The Hippos where very active this time, last time we went the water was very murky. SB told the cashier that "actually he didn't need a bag".

I plan to to write about the things Sharkboy says. He named me Grandma Gabby. He says the funniest things. Boy does he love sharks, he will be four soon. Sharkboy will only watch The Blue Planet at our house. I say can we watch cartoons, he says no Grandma, sharks. So now I now anout black tipped reef sharks, wobbegongs, basking and whale shark.
